I carefully choose which baking pans and large kitchen items can live in our farmhouse kitchen. Storage space is precious and I do my best not to invite items that don't earn their keep to live in our cabinets.
These Half Sheet Rimmed Baking Sheet Pans are among the most used items in our kitchen. I use them to bake cookies, as a platform to safely transfer baked goods like cakes, muffins, and pies to the oven, and to roast vegetables on. No matter the task, I never need to worry if they will live up to it.
They're durable, easy to clean, and roomy. The rim allows me to bake quick, thin cake layers when time doesn't allow for deeper and longer baked varieties. They're easy to line with silicone style Silpat liners or sheets of parchment paper.
These pans distribute heat evenly don't mind high heat. I have even used them to bake sheet pan pizzas directly on the gas grill in Penny Lane's backyard.
These pans fit perfectly on top of a standard sized wire cooling rack. They stack neatly, taking up as little space as necessary. I keep six of them in the kitchen and am forever finding new uses for them. I am never sorry to have them ready to report for duty in the farmhouse kitchen.
While I use these pans in many ways, my favorite use for them is baking cookies for my family. You'll find my cookie recipes gathered together for you in our Cookie Recipe Collection.
