Handmade Care Tag Labels - Instant Download PDF File

When our first batch of Cozy Cables Hats were ready to add to our shop, we needed to create a use and care tag. We wanted to make sure that these tags conveyed the same message as the wooden button we attach to each hat: this piece was made by hand. So, a handmade tag was the option we chose.

I sat down to create a tag that would include all of the information we needed to ship with our hats so that the person who purchased our hat or received one as a gift would know who made it, what it was made of, and how to take care of it so that it would last for years to come. There was a lot of information to fit in a small space, but I finally made it work and I just love filling out these tags and tying them to a hat with a piece of yarn. 

Each tag measures just under 3" wide and 4" tall. The tags have a border with a rounded edge. I like to round the corners on our tags using this little handheld corner rounder punch, but you can choose to leave the edges square if you prefer. The tags also have a colorful circle to help you to punch a hole in the middle of the tag for attaching to your handmade goods.

When we started sharing photos of our hats with these tags, many of our followers asked us to add them to our shop. So, here they are. When you purchase this listing, you will be sent a link to download a PDF file that contains six letter sized (8.5 x 11) pages of these tags.

Each page contains six tags and can be printed on an inkjet or laserjet printer using your choice of paper or cardstock. We've included a range of colors so that you can choose to keep things simple or add a bit of color to your tags. You can print on colored paper to really add a pop of color.
