Handmade Scrappy Fabric Wreath - Whimsical Holiday

This handmade scrappy fabric wreath is made with a combination of cotton fabrics in in prints inspired by Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas in Grinch green, bright pink, red, white, black, and silver. It's perfect for adding to your holiday tree, hanging on stocking holders, attaching to a package, or using at your holiday table. We can't wait to see how you'll put them to festive use at your house this year!

The idea for this wreath came about as we were preparing to begin making our holiday collection this year. We had a mountain of little scraps of fabric left over from our basket making. After we sorted them, they were organized in little mounds that looked so fluffy and cute. It was at that very moment that I knew we needed to come up with a way to make them into little ornaments and decorations to add to our holiday shop.

Every wreath is made by hand right here at the farmhouse. We start with an unfinished 3" wooden ring and tie each piece of fabric around the ring by hand. We use fabric strips that have been prepped by hand and have a raw edge, with just a bit of fraying to keep that fluffy, handmade look about them.

The finished wreath is between 6" and 6.5" inches across. Each one is finished with a loop of red grosgrain ribbon for hanging on your tree, on a stocking holder, or attaching to a wrapped package. Then we finish it off with a little bow. We'll add a little paper tag to remind you that this ornament is from the year 2024 which is easy to remove if you prefer.

Or, we can add a custom tag to your little wreath(s) if you'd like. We love the idea of adding a name to each wreath to hang on stocking holders or to use as place cards or napkin rings around your holiday table. If you'd like to order wreaths with custom tags, you can choose "custom" for the tag option and then add a note to your order telling us what you'd like us to print on your tag.
